Well i The Truth Is i don't know how to upload your own photo on google so first you need a Google+ Or Blogger Profile So you can set your profile picture as your google background and also your picture should larger than 800 pixles Keep That In mind so Lets to get to work

Step 1.
The First Step Is Find A Picture which Is Larger Than 800 pixels

Step 2.
Upload it to your Google+ Profile As Your Profile Picture

Step 3.
Go To Google Homepage And And At Bottom Left Corner You Will See A Tab "Change Background Image" Like this

 

Step 4.

Go To Your Picasa Web Photos And Choose Your Photot And Click Add
